UHF (UC1) is one of the oldest connector standards still used in radio, and Audio-Video technology. The connector is designed as a shielded version of a banana plug (the center contact is 4mm in diameter). UHF connectors operate in the 0-300MHz band and have no fixed impedance. They are mostly used in shortwave radio equipment and antennas.
